Javier Hernandez has posted a heartfelt message of thanks to those who shaped his Manchester United career following the Mexican’s deadline-day transfer to Bayer Leverkusen.
Chicharito joined the Reds from Chivas Guadalajara in the summer of 2010 and quickly endeared himself to the fans by scoring 20 goals during a prolific debut season, when Sir Alex Ferguson’s team notably won a 19th English league title to overtake the previous record set by rivals Liverpool.
United of course claimed a historic 20th title two years later, when Hernandez played a key role in

In total, the striker scored 59 goals in 157 United appearances prior to his deadline-day move away from Old Trafford. While he is now excited to begin a new chapter of his career in Germany, Chicha will always remember his time in Red and posted a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday morning.
“I want to thank Sir Alex Ferguson and Jim Lawlor [chief scout], the club staff, all the players I played with,” he wrote on his personal Instagram account, with the image seen above.
“But especially I want to thank all the Manchester United fans in the UK and all around the world for the incredible support I've had this past four years and all the best wishes they have for me in my new chapter!!”
