Mourinho certain he will become Manchester United manager

Mourinho arising: The former Chelsea manager appears to have seen off Ferguson and Giggs

Jose Mourinho is now certain he will replace Louis van Gaal and become the next Manchester United manager.
M.E.N. Sport understands Mourinho is yet to sign a contract with United, contrary to reports, but the
former Chelsea manager expects to assume the role he coveted in 2013.
Mourinho's increased confidence has led to Van Gaal's assistant, Ryan Giggs, and Sir Alex Ferguson 'surrendering' in their efforts to promote United's record appearance holder to the manager's role.
Giggs, 42, is the most decorated player in United's history and has spent the last three years coaching the team alongside David Moyes, as well as Van Gaal.
However, the Welshman might have to consider ending his 28-year association with United now Mourinho appears destined to take over in the summer, when he is expected to bring his own backroom staff to the club
